FAQ:

What to wear for BalletBarre?

Wear what you are most comfortable in - most of our regulars wear leggings and a t-shirt. Trainers can be worn for the warm up and then socks are worn at the barre. If you have ballet shoes, you can bring them along!

Is BalletBarre for me?

Yes, it is! BalletBarre is a great way to improve your fitness. No previous ballet experience is necessary. The classes are available to everyone and will give you a full body workout ensuring that no muscle is left untouched.

I have never done BalletBarre before - what can I expect?

We provide a friendly space in which we offer a holistic approach in order to achieve your own fitness goals. The class starts with a warm up to get your heart rate going, then we move to the barre for a great workout with some matwork exercises thrown in and then finish the session with a calm and relaxing cool down.

For the adult classes, socks are fine to wear initially but ballet shoes are advisable if you decide to come more regularly. For the mums and toddlers classes, bare feet or socks are fine for the classes.
